Yesterday I went to “meet the tweet”, a gathering of creative people who knew each other through twitter. I actually only knew two people that were there, but I hoped I could change that by going anyway. I’m glad I went, because everyone I met there was really nice and I had a great time catching up with Christine as well.

The gathering was organized by Nina, Rivka and Ria, who gave us the assignment to send in their favorite inspirational quote, which they would then turn into a keepsake for the attendees. I chose one of my favorite quotes by Roald Dahl and made it into the image above. Nina made a beautiful booklet with all the quotes and I love seeing something I made in print.

Some of my other favorite quotes:

quote
Send in by Moniek, print by Kimsey Price. Being in the process of making my own dreams work, I know this to be very true.

quote
By Babette. I’ve really had to learn this one and, to be honest, I still have to remind myself every now and then.

quote
By Sterre. Also very important to remind yourself of once in a while. And so beautifully illustrated!

    • Very true! I love that one too. These quotes can sometimes really help, if you make sure not to see too many, They are everywhere at the moment! A lovely week to you too :)

  3. Ahhh so many good memories of reading Roald Dahl as a child. I should read them again. (Thank you so much for dropping by my blog last week, I loved your comments)

    • Roald Dahl was my favorite writer as a child and still is one of my favorites now. Such gems. As is your blog! I really loved spending some time on there.

  4. Great idea – the book looks gorgeous! My friend sent me a print which says “Always do what you are afraid to do” (Ralph Waldo Emerson) which I have hung by my dressing table to inspire me every morning.
